Department head
duties are to ensure the Conneaut Police Department protects and
serves the citizens of Conneaut to the best of its ability, with
an emphasis on integrity, fairness and professionalism.
The primary mission
of the Conneaut Police Department is the prevention and detection
of criminal activity and apprehension of offenders. Of utmost
importance is the overall safety of the citizens of Conneaut and
visitors to the City.
Additional divisions
are: Communications Division with Enhanced 911, Detective Division, Bike Patrol unit, S.W.A.T.
Unit, K-9 Unit, Animal Control Unit, D.A.R.E. Program taught in public and
parochial schools, Operation of 5 day jail facility.
